The UGC-Academic Staff College, University of Madras will conduct an ORIENTATION COURSE (GENERAL) Batch- 96 from 06-05-2010 to 02-06-2010 (28 DAYS) on all India Basis for the benefit of Lecturers working in Universities and Colleges.

As per the UGC guidelines, Part-Time/Adhoc/temporary/contract teachers, who have been teaching for at least three academic sessions in an Institution which has been affiliated to a University for at least two years may be permitted to participate in the Orientation Programmes/Refresher Courses to enhance their skills. The participants are entitled for T.A. & D.A. as per UGC Norms.

Selection Process:
MSIT took its inception in the year 2001 and is currently offered at IIIT and JNTUH, School of Information Technology, Hyderabad. MSIT follows ‘Learning by Doing” approach with Project Centered Curriculum aimed at producing employable IT professionals for the Industry.

Apply at Eduquity Career Technologies PVT LTD, 403, 4th Floor, Myhome Sarovar Plaza, Secretariat road, Hyderabad-63, Ph: 040-23243010 with a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 500/- from a nationalised bank drawn in favour of 'CIHL', payable at Hyderabad. If the candidate is satisfied with scores which he/she got through Walk-in Entrance then he/she can take regular entrance test which will be conducted from 26-05-2010, he/she needs to apply online (should take another DD for Rs. 500/-) . However the best of the scores would be considered for final ranking.

The walk-in entrance will be conducted from 12th April on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week upto 25-05-2010.

The National School of Drama, a central autonomous institution, fully funded by the Government of India, Ministry of Culture, invites applications for admission to its Three Year Diploma Course (full time - residential) in Dramatic Arts. The course starts from July 2010 and aims at training students to become professionals in the area of acting, design and other theatre related disciplines.

Essential Qualifications :
  • Graduation in any subject from a recognised University in India or abroad.
  • Participation in at least 6 theatre productions.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
Age Limit as on 1.7.2010 Minimum 20 years Maximum 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates only.

Out of 26 seats, 4 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes; 1 seat is reserved for scheduled tribes and 5 seats are reserved for OBC (except Creamy Layer as notified by the Government) as per Govt. of India rules.
