Undergraduate Degree Programmes

  • Bachelor of Architecture
  • Bachelor of Planning

Eligibility: Candidates with more than 50 percent marks in aggregate with Mathematics as the subject of examination at 10+2 level are eligible for admission to the first year of the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Architecture and Planning.

Eligibility: Candidates with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination (50 percent in respect of SC/ST candidates) for each discipline are eligible as given below.

Environmental Planning

Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university, or equivalent, or Master’s degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology from a recognized university, or equivalent

Housing
Eligibility:
Bachelor degree in Planning or Architecture or Municipal Engineering or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Building Engineering from a recognized university, or equivalent, or Master’s degree in Economics or Sociology from a recognized university, or equivalent.

Regional Planning
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university, or equivalent, or Master’s degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology from a recognized university, or equivalent

Transport Planning
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Civil Engineering or Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university, or equivalent, or Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Operational Research from a recognized university, or equivalent

Urban Planning
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university, or equivalent, or, Master’s degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology from a recognized university, or equivalent

Master of Building Engineering and Management
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Building Science from a recognized university or equivalent, and also Five Year Diploma in Construction Technology from any recognized University or Institution established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.

Master of Landscape Architecture
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture or Planning from a recognized university or equivalent, or Master’s degree in planning or equivalent postgraduate diploma of recognized university/ institution or equivalent, or Certificate of completion of Pre-Landscape Architecture Course of the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi


Doctoral Programmes

Eligibility: Applicants for admission to Ph.D. programmes shall possess the following qualifications.

Master's Degree in Urban Planning or Regional Planning or Environmental Planning or Housing or Transport Planning or Landscape Architecture or Urban Design or Architectural Conservation or Building Engineering and Management or Industrial Design conducted by the School, or equivalent from any other recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks;

or

Bachelor's Degree in Planning or Architecture of the School or its equivalent from any other recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks and five years experience in teaching, research or professional practice.

M.Phil./ Ph.D. Programme in Theoretical Physics

The M.Phil. course started at our new University is intended to fulfill this important need of (i) providing research orientation to the students and (ii) giving them an opportunity for in-depth study in the various research areas.

The M.Phil. course in Theoretical Physics is a three-semester course. The first two semesters consist of course work while the third semester would be spent on doing individual projects. Among the courses offered are Advanced Mathematical Physics, Advanced Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory, Advanced Statistical Mechanics, Computer Programming and Numerical Methods in Physics, and some Electives like Elementary Particle Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Atomic & Molecular Physics and Nuclear Physics
