Duration of the Course:

The duration of the course shall be of two years. The first year will be of two semesters to be conducted and examined at Punjabi University, Patiala. The students will attend the second year of the course at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Baree, Pennsylvania, USA

Eligibility:

The MBA part-I shall be open to any person who has passed a degree/post-graduate degree examination in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate form this University or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto. For admission to MBA 1 + 1 programme, 85 per cent weightage will be for academic performance in graduation/post graduation. Weightage for Group Discussion & Interview to be conducted by PSMS, Punjabi University, Patiala will be 15 per cent.

The candidate who has passed MBA Part-I (Ist and 2nd semesters), will undergo course work and scheme of studies at Wilkes University for the second year for which ordinances of Wilkes University will be applicable. Head of the Department reserves the right to recommend the eligible student for applying visa & candidature for Wilkes University for 2nd year of MBA 1+1 programme

Eligibility for Admissions:

For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree programmes Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2009 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2008 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2009 test. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2007 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2009. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2009
