Admission Announcement for the Academic Year 2010-11

Master Science in Information Technology (MSc-IT):

Eligibility:
Entry-level requirement is a Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/AMIE or Master's Degree in Computer Science and Applications (MCA) with minimum score of 60 percentage marks or CGPA of above 6.5 out of 10 points, in the qualifying examination.

Number of seats:
The number of seats for the program is 60

Selection Criteria:
Admissions are based on All India Admission Test and Interview. Candidates with valid GATE scores and those applying under NRI / Foreign National category are exempted from the admission test. The All India Admission test will be conducted at New Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kannur. Those who qualify the test will be called for interview at IIITM-K, Thiruvananthapuram.



Master of Philosophy in Ecological Informatics:

Eligibility:
MSc with First Class in Natural / Physical Sciences with minimum score of 60 % marks or CGPA of above 6.5 in 10 points, in the qualifying examination.

SC/ST candidates are eligible for admission to the above courses if they have pass marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have appeared for their final qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

The number of seats for this program is 15

Selection Criteria:
Admissions are based on Admission Test / interview. The candidates who have qualified the national Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR etc are exempted from the written test. The All India Admission test will be conducted at New Delhi, Kolkatta, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kannur.


Post Graduate Diploma in e - Governance (PGDeG):

Eligibility:
Bachelor degree in any discipline with computer proficiency. Preference will be given to B.Tech / MBA / MCA degree holders
