Applications are invited for Admission to Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) 5½ years Course-2009 at Nehru Homeopathic Medical College, New Delhi. The Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Faculty of Homeopathic Medicines, 6th floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110 007, only against a Bank Draft / Banker’s Cheque worth Rs. 250/- (By Hand) and Rs. 300/- (By Post) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi w.e.f. 10.06.2009, on all working days up to 07.07.2009.

The last date for sending request for obtaining Bulletin of Information by post is 27.06.2009.

The Application Forms can also be obtained by hand against Demand Draft from the office of the Principal, Nehru Homeopathic Medical College, B -Block, Defence Colony, New Delhi.

Eligibility Condition:
AGE: He/She must have attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st October 2009. Provided that the Vice-Chancellor may on the basis of individual merit, relax the age limit upto a maximum period of one year.

Qualification: The candidates seeking admission to BHMS course must have passed Intermediate/Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE)/Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years course) or any other equivalent Examination recognized by the University of Delhi for admission to Under-graduate courses with 60% or more marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed English from the recognized school conducting regular classes (except Patrachar Vidhyalaya and Open School). While deciding the merit the marks obtained in English will not be taken into consideration.

The Roll Numbers for the forthcoming UGC-NET Examination for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship to be held on 28th June 2009 have been dispatched. A total of 9141 candidates will be appearing for the test. A total number of twenty-two centers have been created in Panjab University Campus and various colleges of Chandigarh. The candidates who do not received the admit cards (Roll No. Card) till 24th June 2009 should contact personally Prof. K.P. Singh, Coordinator, UGC-NET in the Dept. of Physics, P.U. Chandigarh (Tel. The online submission facility will be available from 9:00 am June 1, 2009 till 5:00 pm on July 8, 2009. The fees for online submission of the post graduate forms can be submitted up to July 9, 2009. Candidates have to send a copy of the filled in form by speed post only which has to be postmarked not later than July 9, 2009.

Eligibility: A candidate will be eligible for Admission to Postgraduate Courses if he/she has completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission and has secured a minimum 45% of marks at graduate level. However for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks will be 40%.

Last date for submission of Online Application Form is Saturday, July 8, 2009, 5:00 pm,
