ENTRANCE CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGE

10 + 2 from CBSE or any other equivalent board with 50% marks in aggregate. (45% marks in case of ST/ST)

Preference to candidates who have undergone vocational course education in fashion design/ textile design or studied fine art subjects at or after 10+2 from any recognized/approved Board.

Aptitude test to asses the skill of candidates in free hand drawing, 3D sketching, designing and general ability.

INTEGRATED BACHELORS’ AND MASTERS’ PROGRAM IN FASHION & LIFESTYLE

First three years of the Graduate Program will be inclusive of Foundation Studies for a period of one year followed by Core Studies for two years. This will culminate with the completion of 6 weeks of Industrial training.

This will further be followed by two years Masters’ Program comprising of extensive specialized project based study of Fashion & Lifestyle. This will be inclusive of 6 months Apprenticeship Training in the corporate and/or the industry.

Application form along with the Information Brochure can be obtained on payment of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred) only from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University on a payment of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred) only in the University Cash Counter. Request for supply of forms by post must be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped (of Rs. 35/-) envelope of (28 x 12) cms along with a Bank Draft of Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of “REGISTRAR, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY” payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY BRANCH (Code No. 2051). The University authorities will however not be responsible for non-delivery/late delivery of forms sent by post. Application forms downloaded from the website -www.dibru.ac.in should be accompanied by a draft of Rs. 300/- as per particulars mentioned above.
