ADMISSION TO MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME (MP)- OPENMAT-XXV

IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/ Diploma Programme in Management:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Diploma in Management (DIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)

Eligibility:

Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category
or Graduates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into the management programme conducted by recognised institutions like CAT, MAT State level tests conducted by State Government etc.

AICTE approved 2 year full-time programmes (Equivalent to MBA):

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management International Business)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking & Financial Services)

Other Programmes
AICTE approved 3 year full-time programmes (Equivalent to MBA):

• Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (E-PGDM)
• Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) E-PGDM (M)

Eligibility:

Minimum of 3-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE as eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management. Candidates meeting all requirements, for obtaining the Bachelor's degree by 30th June 2009 may also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that latest by 1st October, 2009

Selection Process:

• AIM uses CAT/MAT for short listing candidates for all the above programmes.
• Foreign / NRI applicants can also apply with valid GMAT scores (taken not later than October 2008). NRI applicants residing in India during July-December 2008 must have appeared in CAT/MAT 08.
• Final Selection will be based on the performance in the CAT/MAT/GMAT followed by group discussion and personal interview.
