2. Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST) for all other courses.

Application and Prospectus can be obtained form the undersigned on requisition along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by enclosing a self addressed stamped (Rs.15.00) envelope of 35cm x 10cm. SC/ST candidates should submit attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate along with the requisition letter. Candidates can also downloaded the application form and instructions to the candidates from http://www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount. Candidates appearing for the final year/ semester examination can also apply. Fee structures are provided in the Prospectus.

ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

LL.B. (Three year Course) and LL.M. Entrance Test 2008
The Entrance Tests for admission to First Year of LL.B. (Three Year Course) and LL.M. for the year 2008-09 will be held in Delhi.
LL.B.: Date of Entrance Test: Sunday, 15th June 2008
Eligibility: Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree with 50% marks for General candidates;Relaxation of upto 5% marks for Physically Handicapped (PH); 45% marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW) category; and degree with pass marks for SC/ST candidates
LL.M.: Date of Entrance Test: Sunday, 22nd June 2008
Eligibility: LL.B. Degree (3 year/5 year course) with 50% marks for General candidates; Relaxation of upto 5% marks for PH; and 45% marks for SC/ST/CW candidates
Note:
1. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying degree examination are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but admission will depend on minimum eligibility prescribed above.
2. The reservation of seats is made as per the University rules.
3. Bulletin of Information with application form may be obtained from the office of the Admission Committee, Faculty of Law from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from 21.04.2008 on cash payment of Rs. 200/- or by post by sending latest by 19.05.2008 to the Admission Committee a bank draft of Rs. 250/- favouring “Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007” payable at Delhi/New Delhi. The application form can also be downloaded from www.du.ac.in after 21st April, 2008 and should be deposited alongwith an additional bank draft of Rs. 200/-.
4. The duly filled application can be submitted from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on all working days and upto 5:00 p.m. on 2nd June 2008 or may be sent by registered post to Convenor, Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110007 so as to reach on or before 2nd June 2008. Incomplete applications or applications received after last date shall not be considered.

i. On Cash payment of Rs 200.00 from Faculty of Law from 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. on all days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
ii. By Post: Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi/New Delhi, to be sent to Convener, Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007 latest unto 19 May 2008
iii. E-form: Application form may be downloaded from website: http://www.du.ac.in (An additional fee of Rs. 200.00 will be added to Test fee of Rs. 500.00)
2. Deposit of Application Form with Test fee of Rs. 500.00 From Monday, 21 April 2008 (Rs. 150/- for S.C./S.T. category) at the office of to Monday, 02 June 2008 Admission Committee, Faculty of Law 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. on all days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

NOTE:
1. All candidates must attend counseling according to their rank in the Entrance Test as per the following schedule irrespective of declaration of results of the qualifying Degree examination, failing which admission shall not be considered. Provisional admission for attending classes may be given to candidates whose results have not been declared subject to an undertaking.
