Applications are invited for admission to the following 3 year Diploma Courses.
1 Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Cinematography)
2 Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production(Film Processing)
3 Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production(Sound Recording and Sound Engineering)
4 Diploma in Direction and Screenplay writing and TV Production
5 Diploma in Film Editing and TV Production
(Separate application should be submitted for each Course)

For Direction and Screen Play Writing, minimum Qualification is any Degree from a recognised University and for all other Courses Minimum qualification is Higher Secondary/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Application forms with prospectus can be obtained from the Principal, M.G.R. Govt Film and Television Institute, Chennai-113 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (for SC/ST Rs.30/- on production of copy of Community Certificate) drawn in favour of Principal, M.G.R. Govt. Film and Television Institute, Chennai along with self addressed envelope(20 c.m. x 12 c.m) affixed with postage stamp for Rs.10/-.

Application forms and Prospectus can also be downloaded from www.tn.gov.in website and submitted along with demand draft for Rs.100/- (for SC/ST Rs.30/- on production of copy of Community Certificate) Demand Draft obtained earlier than 10-05-2008 will not be accepted.

Last date for submission of filled up application form is 5 P.M. on 02-06-2008.

(i) An Application in this regard should be addressed to Dean, University School of Basic & Applied Sciences, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Kashmere Gate, Delhi- 110 40 3. The envelope of the application requesting for the issuance of the Admission Brochure must be super scribed at the top as “REQUEST FOR ADMISSION BROCHURE (M.TECH NANO SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY)”.
(ii) The application should be accompanied by a Bank draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, address and phone no. of the applicant should neatly written on the back side of the D.D.
(iii) A self addressed envelope of size not less than 24cms X 30cm should be sent alongwith the D.D. The postal address of the applicant should be written neatly in Block Letters.
(iv) The request must reach the University by 22 June, 2008.
