In this case attach bank draft for Rs. 1600/- (Rs. 800/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Registrar, P.U., payable at Chandigarh, and two self addressed envelopes size 10”x4”, duly stamped for Rs. 22/- each.

Pursuant to the issue of Government Notification no. ED 38 TEC 2009 for admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. courses for the year 2009-2010, the Karnataka PGCET-2009 is being conducted under the supervision of Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) for the purpose of determining merit of both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates for admission to Full Time and Part Time, M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. Courses offered by University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bangalore - Bangalore University), University BDT College of Engineering, Davangere, Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Mathematics and Computer Science - Kuvempu University, and Department of studies in Computer Science -University of Mysore and PG Departments, Regional Centres & Extension Centres of VTU & institutions affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University for the year 2009-2010.

To 4.00 pm., for PG Department of Kuvempu University and University of Mysore M.E./ M.Tech. courses, at various centers as specified in the brochure.
• GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission. They have to apply by downloading the application form along with prescribed fee; however they are exempted from appearing for the written test.
