XLRI Jamshedpur offers both full-time and part-time doctoral programmes in the following areas of specialisation.
Area of Specialization:
Economics
Finance
Information Systems,
Marketing Operations Management
Organizational Behaviour
Human Management
Strategic Management
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a full-time, residential doctoral programme that trains prospective scholars to become highly skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in various domains of management. It primarily aims at preparing students for careers as faculty members at premier academic institutions or as researchers in premier research organizations.
Eligibility: Candidates should have Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with atleast 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) with the Bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification with atleast 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of 10+2+3 years of education or a professional qualification like CA/ICWA/CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates \) or B.E/ B.Tech degree or equivalent with atleast 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) and two years or relevant work experience.
Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) is a part time, non-residential doctoral programme that has been designed to cater to the scholarly needs or working executives/ managers/ faculty members/ researchers.
Eligibility: Candidates should have an MBA/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent or GMP/PGPX or One year full time residential programme in Management.
Last date for applying to FPM is November 30, 2010
FPM extended date is January 08, 2011
