The Music Academy’s Advanced School of Carnatic Music invites applications for admission to Advanced Diploma in Carnatic Music (Vocal) being introduced from this Year.

Duration : 4 Years under Semester system, Mid July – November end and Mid January – May end.

Classes : Monday thru Saturday 10 A.M. – 3.30 P.M.

Eligibility : Applicants should have minimum educational qualification of Plus Two (successfully completed).

Age : between 18 and 30.

Each applicant must send bio – data accompanied by an audio CD containing half an hour of a recent recording (not more than 3 months old) that includes the manodharma element.

Shortlisted Applicants will be called for an interview by the Music Academic Council.

Selected candidates will be intimated. The decision of the Music Academic Council will be final and binding.

Number of seats : 10.

Stipend / Scholarships available for deserving candidates.

Last date for receiving Music Academy Applications : 31 July, 2010.

Commencement of Music Academy Classes : 16 August, 2010.
