Admission Notification 2009-2010

Applications on prescribed application forms are invited for admission to the following academic programs.

Entrance Test Based Courses: Admission will be done on the basis of entrance test conducted by the University.

• MBA: Business Economics, Chemical Sales and Marketing Management, Financial Administration, e-Commerce, Human Resource Development, Tourism Administration
• M.Sc.: Industrial Chemistry, Instrumentation and Commercial Methods of Analysis (MICA), Biomedical Technology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Microbiology, Neuroscience
• Physical Education: B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., Certificate in Aerobics and Fitness (C.A.F.)
• Graduate Courses: BBA, BCA, LLB (Hons.) Five Years Integrated
• Non-Entrance Test Based Courses: Admission will be done on the basis of merit in index prepared based on marks obtained in qualifying examination
• M.Sc.: Physics, Bio-physics, Botany, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Tech. (Industrial Maths with Computer Application), Zoology, Biochemistry, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS), Electronics, Computer Science
• MA and M.Com: Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology (AIHC&A), History, Extension Education and Social Work, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, French, Music-Vocal, Dance, M.Com
• P.G. Diploma: Diploma in Marketing Management, Advertising and Sales Administration, Diploma in Personnel Management, Diploma in Museology, Diploma in Yoga Therapy, Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA)
• Diploma: English, French, Snaskrit, Music, Dance, Human Rights
• Certificate: English, French, Sanskrit, Yoga
• Library Science: Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Master of Library & Information Science
• Other Courses: Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC), LL.M
• Ph.D.: Doctoral level research can be pursued in various faculties. Ph.D. forms are available at research section of university on request. Kindly contact respective departments for further details

How to apply: Application form can be collected from the University's Sales Counters by depositing Rs. 400/- in cash/DD.

To obtain a Prospectus by post request may be sent to the Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior-474011 along with a DD/IPO for Rs. 450/- in favour of Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

Those who download the application forms from the website should submit the completed form along with the crossed a/c payee demand draft of Rs. 450/- payable at Gwalior in favour of Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior. They can collect prospectus along with roll numbers one day before the entrance test from the control room.

For each course a separate application form has to be submitted and with each application form an additional application fee of Rs. 100/- has to be deposited (DD in favour of Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior). Each information Bulletin has six applications forms (one specifically for physical education courses), which are non-transferable.

Last date with late fee of Rs. 200/-: June 27, 2009
