i strongly believe that cdac Noida is by far the worst educational institution in india. currently im studying in PGDGIS&RS-V. there are few things that i wish to mention for students joining CDAC Noida
1. dont waste your money. this course is not worth 45000 rs.
2. there is absolute shortage of faculty and the whole course is taught by only 2 research scholars (nimesh dagur and ritesh singh).
3. class starts at 9.30 officially but the faculty comes at 11, similarly after lunch class starts at 2.00 and the faculty turns up at 4.00 PM.
4. absolute shortage of infrastructure as al students with their pc's will be stuffed in a small classroom.
5. 1 pc per 2 students
6. obsolete and outdated softwares are taught that too incompletely
7. teachers have a very biased attitude and their indifferent behaviour is quite visible in the class
8. dont get misguided by thegolden placement dreams shown by CDAC-Noida. our course is about to get over within a month and till now not a single student has got placed.
9. no campus interviews and placements.
10. cdac noida is a place where i believe definitely scandals take place.
11. this pioneer institution is again a mere a government office where nobody cares about the students.
12. some of the major softwares used here are cracked and pirated softwares, can u believe it.
13. there is zero transparency in the distribution of marks. marks are given on the basis of buttering that can do.
14. overall on a rating scale of 10 i rate cdac mere .25.
and if u still think of making ur career in cdac then take ur own chances

i agree with u arpit. i find faculty with a very callous attitude and very much biased. isnt it surprising that companies are coming and more than 80 % of students are unaware about it. and suddenly out of the blue a lady comes up on the door telling 6-8 crazy lickers to get ready for the interviewers. no grades, no academics, no communication skills required. if u r good in chasing ur faculty in cdac then u r a microsoft material.. man i did the biggest mistake of my life by coming to cdac noida, man it sucks.
even their alma mater kkep calling them for the placements which they had promised.... now this torture is going to end in just a month.
today the results for module 2 ie GIS was declared. it was shocking to believe that my result was downgraded to an unacceptable level. but on the other hand it showed some consistent pattern of awarding marks with open hands to all the lickers. Hopeless course indeed. i dont know why are they seeking vengance from us. one of my friend started with a star A grader intitally and after that she was given a B grade and now she has ultimately fallen into the category of C graders. can u believe it, A girl who was a project manager in a geotourism firm at a mere age of 24 has become the latest jictim of cdac atrocities..
one more thing, for our final course project we have been refused a simple permission letter which is required to interact with external agencies for secondary data. we have been told to make a dummy data. A DUMMY PROJECT FOR DUMMIES.. one of our senior teacher who has never taught us a single word fears losing his job if the permission letter falls into the wrong hands... donno what wrong deeds can we actually do with a piece of paper bearing his name....
to sum up everything : CDAC Noida has once again failed to provide a platform for some credible work. It is merely a government office and these courses are run to arrange salary for their knowledgeless staff......

I joined PGDSDA and i am placed in Dell-PerotSystems,Noida through CDAC noida only.
Its a great company to work for.
Can anybody tell me about Dell perot System as i have done PGDSDA and got selected in Dell Perot
But no offer letter no joining date nothing. And CDAC denying for allowing in any other recruitment.
What is the approx tym dell takes to provide offer letter as it has been over a month. x-(
