The College of Emergency Medicine, UK is responsible for setting standards of training and administering examinations in Emergency Medicine for the award of Fellowship and Membership of the College.

Apollo Health City Hyderabad is the first off-shore examination and only training centre in India for the MCEM residency program.

All MBBS doctors with a valid MCI registration completing 1 year after internship are eligible to sit for the Entrance Exam (MCEM Part 'A') to be conducted at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad on 12th December on 12th December, 2008.

Successful candidates will be eligible for a 3 year residency training in Emergency Medicine at Apollo Hyderabad, leading to MCEM Part 'B' & 'C' Examinations, to be conducted in India.
