TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
COURSES DESIGNED TO OFFER INTENSIVE TRAINING IN WEB TECHNOLOGY
AES Technologies Private Limited, in partnership with the UDIS Forum (a network assisting the disabled in finding employment), plans to launch need-based training to increae the employability of persons with disabilities.
INTERNSHIP
The company has designed courses of three months' duration which would offer intensive training in web technology, Tally, MS Office, Desktop Publishing and Knowledge Process Outsourcing.
These courses wuld also be followed by internship in IT companies or a period of three montsh.
The UDIS Forum would collect information on candidates who required such training and work with local organizations in different parts of the State of facilitate training.
The information and communication sector needs a number of middle level professionals who can make a successful career and people with disabilities would find suitable jobs if they are given the necessary training.
The number of training centres would be based on the number of applications. Hostel accommodation would also be arranged wherever necessary and successful candidates would be placed in the IT sector.
