B.TECH COURSE 2008-2009 (SELF-FINANCING)

Applications are invited for admission to the B.Tech (Polymer Engineering) course at School of Technology and Applied Sciences, Regional Centre, Pullarikkunnu, Malloosseri P.O., Kottayam (Phone: 0481-2392928) under Self-Financing Stream, for the year 2008-2009.


B.TECH (Polymer Engineering) (8 Semester)

Eligibility:

Pass in Plus two or equivalent with 50% marks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio Technology/ Computer Science put together. SC/ST and SEBC candidates are eligible for relaxation in marks as per rules.

Mode of Selection:
Based on the marks of the qualifying examination and score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University.

Fee Structure (Merit): Rs.36000 per year

Intake: 30

HOW TO APPLY:

The application Forms can be obtained from the Office of the Regional Director, STAS, Pullarikkunnu, Malloossery P.O., Kottayam-686041 from 20-08-2008 onwards on producing a Demand Draft of Rs.200/- (Rpees Two Hundred Only) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University, payable at SBT, MG University Campus Branch. The filled in application forms of B.Tech Course shall be sent to the Director, STAS, Pullarikkunnu, Malloossery P.O., Kottayam-686041, along with DD for Rs.300/- (for SC/ST candidates Rs.150/-) as Registration fee drawn in faour of the Finance Officer, MG University, payabe at SBT, MG University Campus Branch, Full postal address of the applicant is to be entered on the reverse side of the DD.
