30th Post Graduate Programme in RURAL MANAGEMENT (PRM 2009-2011)

PRM is a two-year residential postgraduate programme comprising four different segments – classroom, fieldwork, organizational understanding and management training. PRM is recognised as an equivalent to Master’s Degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Eligibility:
Graduation in any discipline with 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks or equivalent GPA. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Final year students fulfilling the eligibility by June 8, 2009 may also apply.

8th FELLOW PROGRAMME IN RURAL MANAGEMENT (FPRM 2009)

FPRM is a coursework based doctoral programme with a residency requirement of minimum 3 years, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Eight fields of specialization are available.

Eligibility:
Graduation in any discipline or 4-year/ 5-year professional graduation degree. For specific details, refer to prospectus & website.


SELECTION PROCEDURE:
A written test, common for PRM and FPRM will be conducted on November 09, 2008 (Sunday: 9.15 am – 12.15 pm) at 27 Centres across India. PRM participants are selected on the basis of the written test, group discussion and interview. FPRM participants are selected on the basis of the written test, interview and presentation of research proposal. Candidates with PRM qualification from IRMA applying for PFRM are exempted from the written test.
