Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2008 will be administered by Anna University Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for Admissions to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree Programmes in Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu for the academic Year 2008 - 09 through Single Window Counselling.

Applications are invited for the Single Window Counselling Admissions to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Degree Programmes offered in the University Departments of Anna Universities, Government, Government Aided institutions, and seats surrendered by the Self Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. Candidates who have written the TANCET - 2008 (for M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan. Degree Programmes), valid GATE A score, valid GATE B score with TANCET 2008.
2. Reservation for physically challenged candidates are available as per the Government norms for Non-Gate category only.

The details of the eligible qualification and other informations are available in the information booklet and also in the website. Candidate who have appeared for final year / semester examinations in April / May 2008 may also apply.

• Commencement of Issue of application form : 11.06.2008
• Last date for issue of application at Cities other than Chennai, by post and Registration through Internet : 25.06.2008
• Last date for issue and submission in person at Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai : 27.06.2008
