Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India has set up the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology which has been declared as Institute of national importance, at par with the Institute of Technology. RGIPT is co-promoted by leading Oil PSUs. From the academic year 2008-09, RGIPT will offer MBA programme in Petroleum & Energy Management at its NOIDA campus and B.Tech degree course from its rae Bareli (U.P) campus.
1. MBA in Petroleum & Energy Management from NOIDA, U.P : The 2-year Post Graduate MBA program is designed to facilitate students in understanding, developing, integrating and applying knowledge of both core and specialized areas of Management and their concepts and practices and their concepts and practices in the Petroleum & Energy Sector.
2. B.Tech in Petroleum Reservoir and Production Engineering: The accelerated activities in oil exploration and production worldwide have fueled the need for trained and qualified human talents. Against this backdrop, RGIPT presents and excellent opportunity for eligible students to pursue a 4-year B.Tech Course in Petroleum Reservoir and Production Engineering.
