The B.Ed. Program offered by IGNOU is an innovative Program utilizing self instructional materials and Information technology along with Interactive

Eligibility for Admission:
A Bachelor's degree or a higher degree from a recognized University.
In-service teachers with two years (2years) full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a
primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized by the Central or State Government or a Union Territory.

The admission to this Program is on the basis of an Entrance Test to be conducted on Sunday the August 17,2008 all over the country.

Duration of the Program: 2 years
Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi

The 'Student Handbook and Prospectus' can be obtained from all Regional Centres of IGNOU or from Registrar. SRE, IGNOU, Block-3, Room No.-1, Maidan

Garhi, New Delhi-110 068 in person on payment of Rs.500/- in cash or through post by sending an IPO or Demand Draft of Rs.550/- drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city of Regional Centre or Headquarter as the case may be.
