ADMISSION - 2008-2009

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following regular courses of this University for the academic year 2008-09.

1. Ph.D Full time/Part time in Physical Education, Yoga, Advanced Training & Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition, Sports Psychology & Sociology, Sports Bio-Mechanics & Kinesiology, Sports Management and Sports Technology.
Eligibility - Master Degree / M.Phil in the concerned subject.
Duration -3/2 Years.

2. M.Phil in Physical Education.
Eligibility - M.P.Ed / M.P.E.
Duration -1 Year.

3. M.Phil in Yoga, Advanced Training & Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition, Sports Psychology & Sociology, Sports Bio-Mechanics & Kinesiology, Sports Management and Sports Technology.
Eligibility - Master Degree in the concerned subject.
Duration -1 Year.

4. MBA in Sports Management.
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

5. MBA in Sports Technology.
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

6. M.Sc (Yoga).
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

7 . M.Sc. (Sports Coaching).
Eligibility - Any Degree with Diploma in Coaching.
Duration - 2 Years.

8. M.Sc. (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition).
Eligibility - Any Science Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

9. M.Sc. (Fitness Management).
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

10. M.Sc. (Sports Psychology and Sociology).
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration - 2 Years.

11. M.Sc. (Sports Bio-Mechanics and Kinesiology).
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration- 2 Years.

12. P.G. Diploma in Fitness and Wellness Management, Adapted Physical Education, Applied Statistics in Physical Education, Yoga, Yoga for Fitness and Wellness and Sports Physiotherapy.
Eligibility - Any Degree.
Duration -1 Year.

13. Diploma in Sports Coaching (Similar to NSNIS Programme).
Eligibility - Any Degree with representation in Sports / Games in State / University.
Duration -1 Year.

14. B.Sc (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition).
Eligibility - +2 (Group I or Group II).
Duration - 3 Years.

Application can be had from the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in person on payment of Rs.300/-

The last date for receipt of application will be 04.07.08.

The students appeared for examination in April / May can also apply.
