Admission Notice - Post-Graduate Diploma in Cement Technology 2008-09

National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB), an autonomous body under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, is devoted to Research & Development, technology transfer, consultancy and training for cement and construction industries.

Applications are invited for admission to the One Year (August 2008 to July 2009) Post Graduate Diploma in Cement Technology offered by NCB.

ALL THE CANDIDATES OF PREVIOUS BATCHES HAVE BEEN ABSORBED IN THE CEMENT INDUSTRY

Name of the course:
Post Graduate Diploma in Cement Technology

Eligibility:
B.E./B.Tech. (Chemical Engg.) or
M Sc. (Chem.)
With minimum 60% of marks or equivalent grade

Annual Fee:
Industry Sponsored Candidates: Rs. 2,25,000 (including tuition fee, boarding/lodging, technical visits and other institutional facilities)

Non-sponsored Candidates: Rs. 60,000 (includes tuition fee and institutional facilities).

Interested candidates should send their bio-data in the prescribed format to be downloaded from their website http://www.ncbindia.com latest by 25th June 2008 on the address given below. Sponsored candidates should send their application through their employers. Provisions exist for reservations for SC/ST and persons with disabilities as per Government rules/instructions. Certificate from appropriate authority may be furnished for reserved categories. A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only), Rs. 75/- (Rupees Seventy five only) for candidates falling under reserved category, in the form of crossed demand draft/pay order drawn in favour of National Council for Cement and Building Materials payable at Faridabad or New Delhi should be sent along with the duly filled in application form.
