Common Entrance Test For MCA Admission (2010-11)

Applications on the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to three years Master’s Degree Programme in Computer Applications (MCA) for the Session 2010-11 in the University of Jammu (PG Dept. of Computer Science & IT, Bhadarwah Campus, Bhadarwah, Ramnagar Center and some affiliated private and government colleges) through a common entrance test which shall be conducted at Jammu. The application forms can be obtained from the PG Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu, Jammu on payment of Rs.700.00 through Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Head, Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu payable at Jammu. The application forms can also be downloaded from University website www.jammuuniversity.in The downloaded form can be submitted to the Head, Dept. of Computer Science & IT along with the required bank draft till the last date. Outstation candidates can send their requests for forms by post to the Head, PG Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu, Jammu-180006 along-with the required bank draft and self addressed envelope of the size 19x27 cms. duly affixed with the stamps for Rs. 80.00. Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline or Graduation in any professional course of more than three years duration or any other qualification recognized by the University as equivalent thereto with 50% of the aggregate marks (40% for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Castes).

The Admission Brochure shall be available from the office of The Law School, University of Jammu, Jammu-180006 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The cost of Information Brochure/Application form is Rs. 500/- in the shape of Bank Draft favouring Director, The Law School, University of Jammu. Outstation candidates can send their request for Form to the Director, The Law School, University of Jammu-180006 along with the requisite Bank Draft and one self addressed envelope of size 19x27 cms duly affixed with the stamps of Rs. 50/-. The Admit Cards for Entrance Test are to be collected personally or through duly authorized person from the office of The Law School.

A candidate seeking admission against the Payment Seat shall have to declare his/her intention in the appropriate column in the application form and deposit an additional fee of Rs. 500/- in the shape of DD in favour of Director, The Law School payable at Jammu and if selected, shall have to deposit Rs. 1.50 lac at the time of admission in The Law School, besides the normal Fee/Charges for the course.
