MBA PROGRAMME (2009-2011)

N.I.T. Durgapur, offers the two years Full Time MBA Programme for the session 2009 – 2011. The programme has been designed with the expertise of leading management experts of reputed B – Schools of Eastern India, including Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and corporate world.

Eligibility : Graduate (minimum10+2+3 format ) in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Indian University. Candidates will be short listed on the basis of CAT(Nov’08)/MAT(May’08,Sept’08,Dec’08 & Feb’09)/XAT(2009) Score for GD and PI.

The short listed candidates will be called to Durgapur for GD and PI.

The students getting provisional admission to the MBA course 2009-2011 will have to submit the photocopy of their final mark sheet and original migration certificate within one month from the commencement of classes. Failure of which will result in cancellation of the student’s provisional admission. In that case prospective students from the waiting list will be called for admission.

Application Procedure: Prospectus & Application form can be available either personally from the Institute Cash Counter,National Institute of Technology, Mahatma Gandhi Avenue, Durgapur-713209,on cash payment of Rs. 800/- (Timing 10:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m.) on any working day (Monday to Friday) or by sending a request along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/-and also be downloaded from Institute's website and the completed form to be sent along with DD of Rs. 850/-. DD should be drawn in favour of ‘National Institute of Technology Durgapur’, payable at State Bank of India, R.E. College,Durgapur . For SC/ST candidates: Rs 300/-(by cash) or Rs350/- (by DD).

ii) obtained GNM certificate and be an ‘A’ Grade Nurse registered by the State Nursing Council, iii) worked for at least 2 years by 30/06/2009 as a Staff Nurse or Public Health Nurse or Nurse Teacher after obtaining the above mentioned certificate in a recognized body.
