Based on the eligibility criteria given in our advertisement and our MCA Information Brochure 2010 (pdf) on the Institute website, and on the MCA Online Entrance Test held on 16 & 17 June 2010, the following lists of shortlisted candidates, whose BIT Registration Numbers are given below on pages 2, 3, 4 & 5 of this notification, are being called for counselling and verification of documents, at the venues and as per schedules of dates and timings as mentioned below. These lists are in the order of Registration Numbers for convenience of candidates. This notification is being placed only on the Institute website and on the Notice Boards of the Institute at Mesra, and concerned Extension Centres. Please note that all shortlisted candidates have been called to appear at that Centre / Location which is their Choice of Counselling Centre.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 3-year full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by the NITs located at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. Admissions to the MCA programme will be made through NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2010 (NIMCET10) organized jointly by eleven NITs and being conducted by NIT Kurukshetra . Admission will be based on the rank obtained in the NIMCET10 only. The test will be held for duration of two hours and will consist of objective type questions on Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English.
