Applications are invited for admission to the full-time MCA Programme 2008-2011, at Mesra and our Extension Centres at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida.
Eligibility:
Candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3), in any of following:

1. BCA
   
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics
3. B.Sc./ B.A with Maths/ Stats at graduate level.
   

Candidates of B.Sc./ B.A. Honours must have minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average in Honours subject. Other candidates must have minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average in graduation, computed as average of marks in ALL subjects in which appeared (excluding optional subjects) Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which appeared in Class 10 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average, computed as average of marks in ALL subjects in which appeared (excluding optional subjects). Candidates must have passed in ALL subjects in which appeared in Class 12(excluding optional subjects) with minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in average, computed as average of best 5 subjects in which appeared (excluding Optional subjects). Candidates graduating in 2008 can apply, provided they can submit mark sheets by 31 October 2008. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance- learning program mes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professionals/ while in employment.
Selection Procedure: Online Entrance Test on 24 and 25 May 2008 at Allahabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida and Ranchi. Counselling in second week of june 2008. Provisional selections will be based on performance in the Test of candidates who have applied and fulfill the eligibility criteria, due consideration being given to choice (s) of place for study made in application form.

QUALIFICATION : Minimum educational qualification 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/ senior School Certificate examination or Intermediate Sciences (I.Sc) or an equivalent examination of the recognized university/ Board of any Indian State with Physics Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional). Candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS: The Children of following category of Army personnel are eligible:- (a) Serving or retired army personnel in receipt of regular pension of SS officers served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years (b) Army personnel killed in action or those died during their service or disable in action in Army. (c) AMC/ADC officers presently serving with Navy or Air Force, served in Army for a minimum period 10 years and are members of AOBF. (d) MNS Officers served in Army for a minimum period 10 years as regular MNS. APS personnel on duputaion and have put in at leaset 10 years of service in Army or who have been directly recruited/ commissioned in APS and retired after completing their minimum service qualifying for pension and TA personnel completed 10 years of embodied service. (e) Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been legally adopted at least five years before admission. (f) Sons/ daughters of widows of Army personnel who were born of their mother’s first marriage and their mother has later re-married a civilian. (g) Step children of Army personnel who were born out of the wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army.
