Registration for Ph.D Admission 2010

Applications are invited for Full Time/Part Time Ph.D programme in the following departments of the Institute. Civil Engineering (including Remote Sensing & GIS), Mechanical Engineering (including Production & Industrial Engineering), Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Energy Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Application (MCA), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Bioinformatics & Management Studies

Eligibility : Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0) from a recognized university, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms.

Selection : First preference will be given to valid GATE/NET qualified meritorious candidates with research aptitude. An Entrance test will be conducted at Institute level. Short listed meritorious candidates with research aptitude will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same.

Fellowship : Few numbers of full time candidates shall be considered for Research Fellowship subject to availability.

Application Form : Completed Application on the prescribed form will be accepted. The application form can be downloaded from the Institute website www.manit.ac.in (preferable mode). It can also be collected in person from MANIT, Bhopal by paying Rs. 50/- through A/c payee Bank Draft/IPO in favour of “MANIT Bhopal” or through post by sending a self-addressed A4 Size Envelope with A/c Payee Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 50/- in favour of
“MANIT Bhopal”.

Completed forms can be submitted upto 5th July 2010 with a A/c Payee Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 750/- in favour of “MANIT Bhopal” to Assistant Registrar (Admission), MANIT Bhopal – 462051.
