Applications are invited from the qualifying candidates who have passed/ appearing for the final year examination in the Intermediate for admission into M. Sc Biotechnology (5 Years Integrated), and the qualifying candidates who have passed/ appeared for the final year examination in the Degree for admission into M. Sc Electronics & Instrumentation for the academic year 2010-11 through Krishna University Common Entrance Test (KUCET – 2010).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

M. Sc (BIOTECHNOLOGY): Students who have completed/appearing 10+2 level in Biological/ Physical Sciences.

M. Sc (ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION): Students who have completed/ appearing in B. Sc with any one of the following subjects: Electronics/Computer Science/ Instrumentation. Passed/ Appeared in B. Tech (Electronics), B.Tech (Computer Science) B.E (Electronics)/ B.E (Computer Science), B.Tech (Instrumentation), etc.

HOW TO APPLY FOR KUCET-2010

1. Applications can be obtained from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Krishna University, Machilipatnam on payment of Rs. 275/- either by cash or by a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of The Director, Directorate of Admissions, Krishna University, payable at Bazaar Branch, State Bank of India, Machilipatnam.

2. Candidates who wish to obtain the application by post should apply to The Director, Directorate of Admissions, Krishna University, Machilipatnam – 521001 by enclosing a request letter along with a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.275/- and a self-addressed envelope (25 x 30 cm) affixing stamp for a Rs. 40/- (by Speed post). Applicant should write his/her name and address on the back side of the DD (Only DD’s Drawn from SBI will be accepted)

3. Candidates can also download the application from the University website. Such candidates should have to enclose a DD for Rs. 275/- drawn in favour of The Director, Directorate of Admissions, payable at State Bank of India, Bazaar Branch, Machilipatnam, towards application fee

SALE OF APPLICATIONS

1. The Applications are available at (a) Krishna University Campus, Machilipatnam. (b) SRR & CVR Government College, Vijayawada
2. The sale of applications for Krishna University Common Entrance Examination will commence from 10th April, 2010.

EXAM TEST CENTRES
The entrance test will be conducted in Krishna University, Machilipatnam. The Directorate of Admissions reserves the right to allot additional test centre at Vijayawada based on the number of applicants for the test.
