Admission Notification for the Academic Year 2010-11

Applications from eligible candidates are invited for admission into the following academic programmes at the Dravidian University Campus, Kuppam – 517 425.

A. Five Year Integrated Post-Graduation:

• M.A.:Telugu/English/History; M Com.;M.Sc: Computer Science - Eligibility: Intermediate / PUC/10+2

B. Two Year Post-Graduation:

• M.A.: Telugu/ English / Kannada / Tamil / History / Linguistics / Philosophy / Dravidian Culture M.Sc. (Self-Supporting) Organic Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Molecular Biology / Herbal Sciences / Environmental Sciences / Computer Science M.LI.Sc. (Two Year Integrated Programme) M Ed. (One Year Programme)

C. Research Programmes:

• M.Phil./Ph.D. (Integrated) (Regular): Telugu / English / Kannada/Tamil/Tulu/Comparative Dravidian Literature / Linguistics / Philosophy / Folklore and Tribal Studies / History / Education / Bio-Technology / Physical Education M.Phil/Ph.D.(Full-Time / Part-Time): Telugu / English / Kannada / Tamil / Tulu / Comparative Dravidian Literature / Linguistics / Philosophy / Folklore and Tribal Studies / History / Education / Bio-Technology / Physical Education / Library & Information Science

Note: a) Admissions to all courses (excepting P.G.Diploma and Certificate Courses) are through Entrance Tests only. b) Dates of Entrance Tests are included in the Prospectus c) 10% of the Seats are reserved for each of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu States; Applications can be obtained from Director, Directorate of Admissions 2010-11, Dravidian University, Kuppam – 517 425 either in person along with a Draft for Rs.300/- or by post with a Demand Draft for Rs.350/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Dravidian University, Kuppam – 517 425” payable at Kuppam. Those who download the Application from the University Website have to enclose a Demand Draft for Rs.350/-. Separate application for each subject need to be submitted.
