Application are invited for admission to the MBA Full Time (2 years) course

Eligibility : The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe or Person with Disability category), of any of the Universities incorporated in any act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institution established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally and will be required to submit the result (Marksheet by 31st July).

Admission Procedure : Candidates applying for MBA are required to have appeared in CAT-2009. The admission to MBA will be on the basis of CAT score. Cutoff percentile and selection criteria in case of tie in CAT score shall be decided by the Institute.

Sponsored candidates will be selected through institute test/interview. Sponsored candidates should have atleast two years experience (after graduation) in Government/Semi Government organization/ private industry of repute. The list of selected candidates will be made available on the institute website in 1st week of June 2010. No individual information will be sent.

Reservation : The reservation (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will be as per Govt. of India norms.

Submission of Form : The application forms completed in all respects should be submitted to Asstt. Registrar (Admission) MANIT, Bhopal-462051, by 7th May 2010 along with crossed IPO/Bank Draft of Rs. 800/- payable to “MANIT, Bhopal” for general /OBC candidates (Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates). 7. The application form can be downloaded from MANIT website www.manit.ac.in or collected from admission section, MANIT, by paying Rs. 100/- through IPO/Bank Draft payable to MANIT, Bhopal or by sending a self addressed A4 size envelope with IPO/Bank Draft of Rs.100/-
8. The application forms completed in all respects should be submitted to Asstt. Registrar (Admission) MANIT, Bhopal – 462051, upto 7th May 2010 along with a crossed IPO/ Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- payable to “MANIT, Bhopal” for General/OBC candidates (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates). Applications received after due date are likely to be rejected.

Eligibility criteria

A candidate who has secured 80 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in class XII from CBSE board or equivalent is eligible. However if the result of class XII is not declared by the respective board, the student from Delhi can sit for the entrance test.

At the time of counseling, every student must submit his/her certificate of the result of class XII result. No candidate without the certificate of 80% in PCM will be entertained for admission.

Application Procedure

A candidate (from Delhi as well as from outside Delhi) who satisfies the eligibility criteria must apply by filling the online form (this is the only way to apply). Take a print out of the filled form, paste a recent passport size photograph, and send it with a draft for Rs. 500 (Delhi candidates), Rs. 250 (outside Delhi candidates) payable to IIIT-Delhi to the following address.

As the application form requires the bank draft no, a candidate must have the draft ready before filling the application form online.
