B.Sc (Hons. School) in Physics and Electronics (Seats : 23 +3 NRI)

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the 10+2 examination (science stream with physics) to which marks obtained in Physics will again be added. The CET marks will not be considered for this course.

The completed application forms for admission to B.Sc (HS) must reach the Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh by 13th July, 2009, 5:00 PM irrespective of the date of declaration of result of the qualifying examination

Interview date for B.Sc (HS) will be 21st July, 2009 at 9:00 AM. At the time of interview, the candidates must bring the testimonials in original for reservations/weightages to be claimed by them.

The annual fee will be Rs. 30,000 + Lab fee Rs. 10,000.

For NRI candidates, the annual fee will be US $ 2000 + Lab fee Rs. 10,000. The candidates have to deposit the fees at the time of admission. The students after passing B.Sc (HS) in Physics and Electronics will be eligible for admission to M.Sc (HS) in Physics and Electronics without taking entrance test.
