EXTENSION IN LAST DATE FOR SALE OF APPLICATION FORM FOR JOINT CSIR-UGC NET TEST SCHEDULED ON 21st DECEMBER 2008

It is notified that the last date for sale of Information Bulletin and Application Form through designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce has been extended from 04-09-2008 to 11.09-2008 for the forthcoming Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) scheduled on Sunday, the 21st December, 2008.

The Last Date for submission of Online Application for this test has also been extended form 04-09-2008 to 11-09-2008.

The candidate desirous to apply Online for this test may visit CSIR, HRDG website http://csirhrdg.res.in


The completed Application form/ hrad copy of Online submitted Application must reach to the Examination Unit, CSIR on or before 18th September, 2008 (25th September, 2008 for remote areas).

There is no other change inthe notification No.10-2(5)/2008(ii)-E.U.II published in 'Employment News' issue dated 9-15 August, 2008.

Important information:

1. Application forms must be submitted with a DD/IPO of Rs. 300 (Rs. 150 in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of Principal, Engg. College, Ajmer payable at Ajmer
2. Annual fee of Rs. 42,000 will be charged irrespective of category of the candidate
3. The course duration is of two years (four semesters) and the respective syllabi can be downloaded from Rajasthan Technical University website: www.rtu.ac.in
4. Eligibility conditions for admission will be same as laid down by RTU
5. Candidates applying under “sponsored candidate” category must submit appropriate sponsorship certificate given in the application performa from their employer
6. Admission will be given on the basis of written test and/or interview. Candidates having valid GATE score shall be preferred and shall be eligible for AICTE/MHRD scholarship (applicable for non-sponsored candidates only)
7. Hostel Facility and Transportation: Hired hostel facility can be provided to interested students. Monthly estimate on food and accommodation is around Rs. 3000/- including college bus transport facility.

The last date for receipt of completed application is 13.9.2008 up to 5 p.m.

(a) Application form and prospectus can be obtained from Admissions Office, NITHM, Telecom Nagar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad 500032 (AP), in person by paying Rs.500/- only (in case of ST/SC candidats RS.125/- only if their parents income is below Rs.100000/- per annum supported by MRO certificate) or by post thorugh a request accompanied by Demand Draft for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad.
(b) Alternatively can be downloaded form NITHM website: www.nithm.ac.in and submited along with a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of NITHM, payable at Hyderabad.
Candidates should write their name and complete Postal address on the reverse of Demand Draft (DD).

Submit the filled-in application with enclosures within the due date.

Come through the Selection Process (Test & Interview)
