10th ANNUAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Sophia Merit Scholarships Inc., a charitable non-profit organisation functioning for the past 9 years is pleased to announce that scholarhsips will be awarded for the academic year 2008-2009 to academically outstanding and financilally deserving students.

Scholarships will be for pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and in Medicine after completion of Higher Secondary Education.

Students entering first year college are only eligible to apply.

Sophia, Inc., provides financial assistance to selected students to cover the tuition, lodging and boarding expenses incurred, 4 years for engineering and 5 years for medical, for an undergraduate program in India in the fields of engineering and medicine.
