The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities was established to oversee the development of courses attuned to the requirements of the industry and its associated institutions. The requirements of a professional today span different branches of knowledge and therefore the courses offered are all interdisciplinary in nature. This website caters to Admissions to the three courses:

• Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
• Bachelor of Financial Investment and Analysis (BFIA)
• B.A. (Honours) Business Economics (BBE)
  

Eligibility: The candidate should have passed or have appeared in March/April 2010 in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.The candidate should secure an aggregate of at least 60% marks in his/her XII class examination (55% for SC, ST, CW and PC categories) in best of four papers including English and Mathematics. The other two papers are to be selected from the following list: Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics,Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

Admission To Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) And Bachelor of Financial & Investment Analysis (BFIA) 2009-10

The University of Delhi runs the BBS and BFIA degree program under the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences & Humanities. The BBS course us being run in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies since 1987 and the BFIA program since 1999.

A combined entrance examination for the BBS and BFIA degree programs will be conducted by the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences & Humanities.

Eligibility Conditions: Appeared / Passed the 10+2 ( or equivalent) examination with aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/CW/Physically Challenged categories) in four papers including English for BBS and English and Mathematics for BFIA. Rest of the papers may be Accountancy, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Informatics Practices, Introductory Computer Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Secretarial Practices, Social Science, Sociology, Word Processing
