ONLINE Application are invited on prescribed form for Admission to the following courses for the Academic Year 2010-11
- B.Sc. in Nursing : 77 Seats
- B.Sc. in Radiography: 10* Seats
- B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology: 6 Seats
*4 for Sponsored, 6 for private Candidates, if the number of candidates from either of the two category is less than indicated, the corresponding number of candidates will be selected from the other category.
Eligibility Conditions for Admission:
B.Sc. in Nursing: 4 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(i) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) or
(ii) Senior School Certificate Examination, Pre-degree Examination (10+2) or
(iii) An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University
(With Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with a minimum of 50% aggregate)
B.Sc. in Radiography: 3 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(i) Pre University Course or
(ii) Job Oriented Diploma course from a recognized Board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject or equivalent or
(iii) An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University
(With Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & English)
B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology: 3 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission:
Pass in Two year Pre University Course Examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 50% in Science subjects.
Application form for all the courses are available online at the NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in The applications have to be filled online and submitted online. Printout of the Application Abstract with the latest passport size photograph affixed (in the column provided) along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, NIMHANS, Bangalore- 560029 and relevant enclosures should be sent to the Director, NIMHANS, Hosur Road, Bangalore- 560029 by superscribing the name of the courses applied for on the Envelope without fail. The application fee is Rs. 1000/- per course for General candidates & Rs. 750/- per course for SC/ST candidates. Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs). They shall also appear for the common Entrance Test along with other candidates. Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel and they should also appear for Common Entrance Test. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.
