Admission Notice 2009 for M.Tech (Master of Technology)

Applications are invited to the following Post Graduate Programmes for the Academic Session 2009 – 10

M. Tech Programmes:

Civil Engineering Department:

• Water Resource Engineering
• Structural Engineering

Electronics & Comm. Engg

• Comm. & Information Tech.

Mechanical Engg. Department

• Mechanical System Design

Eligibility:
For GATE Qualified/Sponsored/General Category candidates:

The candidate should have 4 year B.E/B. Tech in concerned discipline with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate.

For SC/ST/OBC category candidates:

The candidate should have B.E/B. Tech in concerned discipline with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.25 or 55% in aggregate.

Sponsored Candidates(Full Time/Part Time):

Sponsored Full Time/Part Time candidates must produce the following additional documents at the time of Admission.

• No Objection Certificate/Sponsorship Certificate from the employer. (for both Full Time & Part Time candidates)
• Proof of 02 years regular services and working experience. (for both Full Time & Part Time candidates)
• Sponsored candidates (Full Time/Part Time) can be considered under Sponsored Category, and they must route their Application for Admission through their Employer with submission of an Advance Copy alongwith the requisite documents (as stated below).

In case Sponsored Full Time/Part Time candidate fails to produce the requisite documents at the time of admission, their admission shall be cancelled without issuing any further notice.


Duration of the Course

• Full Time: 02 years
• Part Time: 03 years

Last Date for Submission for forms: 30.06.2009
Date of Written Test : 11.07.2009
