Applications on prescribed forms are invited from eligible candidates for admission test to the following Postal Doctoral (DM/M.Ch) 3 years Courses for the Session August 2009 at SKIMS. (Deemed University) Srinagar with eligibility and number of seats as indicated against each course below:

Course and Seats:

• DM Cardiology: Seats-02
• DM Gastroenterology: Seats- 02
• M.Ch. Plastic Surgery: Seats- 02
• M.Ch. Neurosurgery: Seats- 02
• M.Ch. (CVTS): Seats- 01

Eligibility:

• Candidates must posses MBBS degree recognized by the MCI.
• Candidate applying for DM Course must possess MD degree in Medicine awarded by SKIMS Deemed University or by any other University recognized by MCI.
• Candidates applying for M.Ch. Courses must possess MS degree in General Surgery awarded by SKIMS Deemed University or by any other University recognized by MCI.

Selections:

To qualify the Entrance Examination, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in theory 50% marks in practical Examination. Selection in each course shall be made as per available number of seats on each discipline on the basis of merit.

How to Apply: The Prospectus (guidelines for entrance examination) alongwith the application form can be obtained w.e.f. 25.05.2009 from the Academic section of the SKIMS Srinagar by depositing an application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) in A/c Head Cd-183 at J&K Bank SKIMS Soura Srinagar. Applications with requisite documents shall be received in the Academic Section, SKIMS Srinagar upto 15.06.2009

Date of Entrance Examinations:
25th June 2009 in the Auditorium Hall SKIMS Soura Srinagar at 2 pm.
