Admission Notice MBA (BT) 2008 :

MBA(Biotechnology) is an upcoming discipline, integrating Biotechnology and Management. The Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune has pioneered a two year full time MBA (Biotechnology) degree program since 2002 (intake capacity 60 seats), along with its two year full time MBA program running successfully since 1971.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Microbiology, and Zoology), Agriculture, Ayurved, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, and Veterinary Sciences from a statutory university.

Reservations:

As per the Government of Maharashtra rules, 50% seats are reserved for the SC, ST, DT, NT, OBC category students. 3% seats (2 seats) are reserved for the physically handicapped students as per the Government rules. One seat is reserved for a candidate from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Please refer to our website for details about the seat allocation.
