ADMISSION NOTICE-SESSION: 2008-2009

Sant Longwal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is a Deemed-to-be-University and a National Level Institute established by Government of India thorugh Ministry of Human Resource Development. Some seats inthe following programmes and categories are available:

1. NRI/NRI Sponsored Category:
(i) Diploma Programmes (Duration: 2 Years, Eligibility: +2 Pass (N.M) or Certificate holder of SLIET)
(ii) Degree Programmes (Duration: 3 Years, Eligibility: Diploma Pass)
(iii) M.Tech. Programmes (Duration: 2 Years, Eligibility: BE/ B.TECH or equivalent)

2. M.Tech. Programmes (2 Years):
(i) Instrumentation and Control Engineering
(ii) Manufacturing Systems Engineering
(iii) Polymer

3. Seats in M.Tech. Programmes are also available for Industry/Institute sponsored candidates in the following branches:
(i) Food Engineering and Technology
(ii) Instrumentation and Control Engineering
(iii) Manufacturing Systems Engineering
(iv) Polymer.

Candidates willing to join the above courses are required to report for counselling on 12.09.2008 at 10 am in the office of the Chairman, SET-2008 (Admin. Block), SLIET, Longowal.

The Admission will be on the basis of the SLIET Entrance Test 2008 or marks obtained in qualifying examination. However, preference shall be given to the candidates having GATE score or appeared inthe respective SET-2008 examination for admission to M.Tech Programmes.
