ABOUT THE PROGRAM
GENERAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME for TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS
As Indian Industry undergoes a gradual metamorphosis, technical personnel require not only new levels of technical knowledge and skills, but also higher levels of managerial skills. In general, it is observed that technical personnel are good at managing the technical aspects of the job but are not adept at managing the various other elements involved in it. Only continuous training and development in the latest management tools and techniques can enable them to become effective managers in today’s highly competitive business scenario.
The program is relevant for fast-track managers, who have recently taken charge of a general management role, in terms of equipping them with the ability to cope with responsibilities and issues at that level through formal management education.

Develop competencies and skills essential for senior management roles
Impart contextual and functional knowledge of contemporary high quality management education.
Provide guidance to think through advanced business strategies in diverse competitive scenarios.

Pedagogy:
The teaching approach will be highly interactive taking advantage of the technological capabilities. The pedagogy followed for the program will be a judicious blend of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes, assignments etc.
Program Delivery:
The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Global Education Interactive learning platform. The heart of the platform is a powerful user interface that enables large number of geographically distributed students to have a highly interactive ‘one to one’ exchange with a central faculty. The system incorporates live broadcast video, two way audio and data interactivity to enable the students to watch and interact with the faculty live on their PC’s. The Program can be beamed at any of the HughesNet Global Education, HughesNet Fusion or HughesNet Direct to Corporate Classrooms.
Selection Criteria:
· Marks obtained in Graduation level & work experience
· Career Plan as documented in statement of purpose

Class Schedule: Once a week

Registration Fee Rs.3000/-
Program Fee Rs.75000/-
Total Fees Rs.78000/-
Campus Visit Fees: Rs. 20000/- for 4 days will be payable directly to “The Registrar, IIT Bombay (CEP A/C)”. Campus Fees do not include boarding and lodging.
Application Fee - Rs.1000/- Payable online or by DD in favour of Hughes Communication India Limited.
