Applications on the prescribed proforma are invited from eligible persons for admission to the following courses offered through distance mode residing in the State of Haryana, and from all over India and abroad:


PROGRAMMES OF STUDY

PEN STREAM PROGRAMME

• Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) (6-Months): For candidates without any formal qualification and having attained the age of 18 years on 1st July 2008. Successful completion of programme would provide an opportunity to the students to pursue B.A. (General)/ B.Com. through Distance Education of the Kurukshetra University only.

• Master of Computer Applications (3-Year) Part-III

(For candidates having passed 2-Year M.Sc. Computer Sc. (Software), M.Sc. Information Technology or Master's degree in any other area of Computer Sc. from this University or any recognized University.)

• M.Sc. Computer Science (Software) (2-Year) Part-II

(For candidates having passed P.G. Dip. in J & M.C., B.J./B.J.M.C. of one year duration after graduation from this University or any recognized University.)

(For candidates having passed 2-Year PG Diploma in Marketing Management/Tourism & Hotel Management/Human Resource Management/Financial Management/Insurance Business Management/Business Management from this University or any recognised University.)

• M.B.A.(Hospitality Management) (3-Year) Part-II

(For candidates having passed 1-Year P.G. Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management/Tourism Management/Transport Management/Airlines Management/Cargo Management/Hotel Management/Front Office Management/Accommodation Operations/Food and Beverage (Service) from this University or any recognized University.)

• M.B.A.(Hospitality Management) (3-Year) Part-III

(For candidates having passed 2-Year P.G. Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management/Hospitality Management/Tourism Management/Hotel Management OR MasterDegree in Tourism and Hotel Management/Hospitality Management/Tourism Management/Hotel Management from this University or any recognized University.)

HOW TO APPLY:
The Prospectus (Code No. BPP-DE for BPP course & Code No. DE-08 for courses mentioned at B,C & D above) containing admission form and other details can be obtained from the Manager (P&P), K.U. Kurukshetra -136119 on payment of Rs. 220/- (Rs. 55/- for SC/BC of Haryana only) at the University Press counter or by post by sending a Bank Draft of Rs. 270/- (Rs. 105/- of SC/BC of Haryana only) in favour of the Registrar, Kurukshetra University payable at Kurukshetra/Thanesar only.

Candidates desirous to get admission form through post must send two self addressed slips and the respective Code No. of the Prospectus with their request for Prospectus.

The Prospectus can also be had on payment of Rs. 239/- from the Head/Authorized Post Offices in Haryana and D.Division, RMS, Asaf Ali Road, New Delhi.
