Applications in prescribed forms are invited for admission in AICTE approved M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm Programs in UIT/ UTDs of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, for the session 2008-09 as per details given below. Application form along with prospectus can be obtained during office hours from extension counter of Union Bank of India at RGPV Campus from 07.05.2008 by paying D.D. of Rs. 750/- by hand or by paying DD of Rs. 850/- by post (half the above amount is required for reserved category candidates of MP). The DD should be drawn in favour of Registrar, RGPV, Bhopal payable at Bhopal. The application form along with prospectus can also be downloaded from our website www.rgtu.net. However, such applicants will have to submit the cost of application form i.e. Rs. 750/- for unreserved candidate and Rs. 375/- for reserved category candidate of M.P. in form of Bank Draft. at the time of submitting the application forms. The completely filled application forms with "Application for
Admission in M.Tech. (Name of the course)" marked on the top of the envelop should reach on or before 20.06.08 to Registrar, RGPV at above address.

M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Pharma Courses

Biotechnology

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering / Food Technology/ Bio-medical Engg. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Agricultural Sciences /Veterinary Sciences/ Bio-informatics/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry or B.Pharma with a minimum of 55% marks.

Information Technology

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Sciences and Engg./ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engg./ Electrical & Electronic Engg./ Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 55% marks.

Computer Technology & Applications

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering or MCA with a minimum of 55% marks.

Energy Technology & Environment Management

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Technology/ Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.

Power Systems

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.

Structural Engineering

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.

Heat Power Engineering

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial Production Engineering/ Automobile Engg. with a minimum of 55% marks.

Nano-technology

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech in any branch of Engineering/ Post Graduate Degree in Materials Science/ Physics/ Chemistry (with Physics & Maths group at B.Sc. level) with a minimum of 55% marks.

M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Eligibility: General/ OBC category B.Pharm 60%; SC/ST- B.Pharm 55% marks.

M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical

Eligibility: General/ OBC category B.Pharm 60%; SC/ST- B.Pharm 55% marks.

The admission shall be strictly on the basis of merit drawn on 80% GATE and 20 % Interview for fulltime candidates. In case GATE qualified candidates are not available the remaining seats will be filled by NON GATE candidates on the basis of a combined score of 80% weightage for their percentage/ percentile in the qualifying examination and 20% weightage for interview marks. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC shall be strictly as per norms of the MP Government. A few seats are available for the sponsored category students (for ME/M.Tech) having minimum 2 years experience as per AICTE norms.
