Eligibility: HSCE, or 10+2, or its equivalent examination conducted by Gujarat State Education Board or any other examining body, thereto, in any stream as a regular student with English as one of the subjects, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission criteria: Admission shall be given as per the merit list prepared wherein 75% weightage shall be given to the performance of the All India Entrance conducted by this University for this purpose and 25% weightage to the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.

Entrance test: The test will be held at the following centers:
Ahmedabad, Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Mumbai, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Patna, Kolkata.

However, as University of Delhi has also announced the entrance test DUMET - 2009 on 17th May 2009 from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. Considering the request made by many parents and students desirous of appearing for both the tests, to avoid inconvenience to the student the following change in the date of examination of Bharati Vidyapeeth University has been made.

THE MODIFIED DATE OF THE EXAMINATION IS ON SATURDAY 16TH MAY 2009 FROM 11.00 A.M. TO 02.00 P.M

All the students should note the change in the date of the entrance test and appear for the examination accordingly.
