FPM, the Doctoral Programme of IIMA, recognized as equivalent to Ph.D., provides necesary skills to identify and reserach complex issues in the field of Management. The Programme aims to admit in the above areas of specialization individuals with exceptional academic background, storng motivation and potential to become excellent researchers at international level. Applicants are evaluated on their past academic achievements, motivation and preparation for the programme, letters of recommendations, scores on standard test and personal interviews with the faculty.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. A Masters Degree inany discipline, with at least 55% marks, with the Bachelors degree/equivalent qualificaiton obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
2. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55% marks.
3. A 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average. Those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested Candidates are required to take the Common Admissin Test (CAT) of IIMs or GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF for some of the specific areas. For CAT detals refer to the advertisement that has appeared in the leading dailies on 13 July 2008. (which is also available on this website)
